Selectboard Meeting Minutes
Nov. 12, 2007
In attendance: Nancy Mallary, Chair, David Stevens and John Alexander, Selectmen,
Nancy Mallary called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM.
Personnel Policy issues were discussed.
The following joined the meeting at 6 PM: Greg Gallagher, Town Clerk, Bruce Wheeler, Anne Alexander, Gail Brown, Kimberly Reny, Diane Moore and Gerald Saindon.
At 6 PM, John moved and David seconded to add the following to the Agenda:
Emergency Phone Tree
USDA Generator Grant
Milfoil Grant
Financials
A letter prepared for planning a Phone Tree will be discussed at the next meeting.
Greg will bring Milfoil costs to the next meeting with any "In-Kind" services provided.
John moved and David seconded to approve Select Orders and Payroll #23. Motion passed.
David moved and John seconded to approve meeting Minutes for Oct. 29 and 31, 2007. Motion passed.
Diane Moore presented a spreadsheet with a chronological Errors and Omissions and Grand List adjustments explanation.
David moved and John seconded to approve #8 and sign the Listers’ E & O. Motion passed.
David moved and John seconded to accept the summary for the Nov 6, 2007 (#8) Errors and Omissions submission by the Listers. The resulting Grand List is $134,488.900. Motion passed.
Gail reported that new certified letters were sent to the Jobs Pond property owners with questionable appraisals, but there had not been any response(s).
Greg reported that Kimberley Reny has been hire temporarily for filing.
Nancy ask to set up budget preparation at the next meeting.
Gerald reported that he needs to have Dennis’ help to pull the dock out from the boat launch.
David moved and John seconded to authorize Gerald to help the road crew install whips along the roads. Motion passed.
David left the meeting.
On behalf of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Anne asked to reappoint Bill Perkins to the Commission since his duties as Assistant Zoning Administer are over with the return to Town of Andrew Berley.
John moved and Nancy seconded to reappoint Bill Perkins to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Motion passed.
John moved and Nancy seconded to have Greg contact Melissa Zebrowski to ask he to submit a letter of intent and her resume for the Selectboard’s administrative assistant position. Motion passed.
Greg passed out Financial Statements thru October.
At 7:05, John moved and Nancy seconded to recess the meeting until 11/21/07 at 11:00 AM at the Town Garage. Motion passed.
