In attendance: Nancy Mallary, Chair, David Stevens and John Alexander, Selectmen, Greg Gallagher, Town Clerk, Gail Brown Vince Dotoli and Gerald Saindon.

Jereme LeBlanc, Ann Duggan and Steve Tanner came in at 8:30.

Anne Alexander and Louisa Dotoli came in at 8:40.

Greg introduced a "Test Report" from Gertrude Burke, Fosters Grove North, with bacteria count >16ml/100. John will contact the Health Department to find out what that means.

John moved and David seconded to approve Select Orders #15 with the amendments Greg made of $199 for QuickBooks Payroll update and $15.63 paid to Gail Brown for Lister’s postage and Payroll #15. Motion passed.

David moved and Nancy seconded to approve the meeting Minutes of 7/9 & 13/2007. Motion passed with John abstaining since due to an emergency, he could not attend the 7/13/07 meeting.

Gail Brown explained a problem with appraising the land at the Lakeside Condominiums. She cannot talk about it with Town attorney, Bill May, since he represents Lakeside.

John moved and David seconded to authorize the Listers to contact Ed Zuccaro for advice on the Lakeside Condominium land appraisal issue. Motion passed.

Nancy asked Gail if the Tax map is being used for Re-appraisal purposes.

Gail will check.

Gail suggested getting another lister to train.

The Selectboard asked for a date for tax bills.

Gail said that Russell Graphics wants a maintenance contract for 1 to 3 years.

After discussing errors on the map(s) John said he would ask the Listers to put an ad in the paper to get public feed back.

John moved and David seconded to request a change in the generator bid to put the municipal generator behind the Old Town office and up-size the Garage generator from a 16KW to a 25KW unit. Motion passed.

David moved and John seconded to have Nancy write Robin Robinson (Robin’s Roost) to ask her if she wants to amend the 8/2003 Conditional Use Permit for a change of use to serve alcohol. Motion passed.

Nancy had some questions for Greg on the financial reports he handed out at the last meeting.

Personnel Policies were discussed, but no action taken at this time.

Lonnie Brow told David that forest surveys are better done in the Fall (no leaves) and cheaper.

John recused himself from the meeting.

David moved and Nancy seconded to re-sign the Milfoil Contract since the old contract had a typo. Motion passed.

Nancy read Steve Tanner’s "Letter of Intent" dated 7/23/2007 to raise up to $5000 for the 2007 milfoil project.

Jereme reported that milfoil was down everywhere on the Lake from 2006.

David asked for a comparative map of 206 to 2007.

Nancy moved and David seconded to sign a Notice for the Transfer Station that everyone needs a sticker and to place an ad in the Chronicle to that effect. Motion passed.

At 9:30, David moved and Nancy seconded to adjourn. Motion passed.
