Selectboard Meeting Minutes

In attendance: John Alexander, Chair, David Stevens and Nancy Mallary, Selectmen, Greg Gallagher, Town Clerk, Anne Alexander, Mary Lou Cummings, Melissa Zebrowski, Millie Davis, Town Auditors, Dennis Desmarais, Road Foreman, Randi Pickle, Bruce Wheeler, Bill Perkins, Cemetery Commissioner and Gerald Saindon.
John Alexander called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
David moved and Nancy seconded to go into Executive Session with the Auditors on a personnel issue at 6:01.
The Board cane out of Executive Session at 6:20.
Dennis reported that he and David had looked into a turn around on Long Pond Road.
After some discussion of the need and the location, Nancy moved and David seconded to put a turn around on Long Pond Road between Williams and Nunalley’s within the Town ROW. Motion passed with John abstaining.
Randi had two safety concerns:
Two vehicles are parked on the side of the road by Lacross’ former property by the boat launch. John replied that Rt 5A is a State road, not a Westmore road.
There is a tank labeled "fuel" by the side of the road on Harter’s property by the Cemetery. Gerald said that is for the loggers who will be gone in a day or two.
Nancy reported that last February’s Minutes stated the policy of the Transfer Station personnel using Road equipment.
John expressed his concern about Gerald’s work schedule for budgeting and safety reasons.
David moved and Nancy seconded to purchase an extended warranty on the Ford F350 for 6 years or 60000 miles for $2810. Motion passed.
